How it's calculated

Protein = Sum of (Ingredient Weight in g × Protein per 100g ÷ 100)

Worked example

Scenario: 200g raw chicken breast (45g protein) + 1 cup Greek yogurt (22g protein).
Inputs200g chicken breast, 1 cup Greek yogurt

Common questions

Does cooking destroy protein?

No. Heat changes the shape of proteins, which actually makes many of them easier to digest. The grams of protein stay about the same.
