Corrections & Updates Policy
Last Updated: March 2026
Our Commitment to Precision
Culinary calculations require precision. If an ingredient density is inaccurate or a nutritional data point is misquoted, recipes can fail and budgets can be skewed. Fresh Taste Kitchen promptly investigates all reported factual and mathematical errors.
How to Report an Error
If you believe you have detected an error in a formula, calculation output, or guide, please notify our editorial desk with the following details:
- The specific URL of the page or calculator.
- The exact input values entered and the observed result.
- The expected result and the authoritative source reference (e.g. USDA record, NIST handbook).
You can submit your report via our Contact Form or by emailing editorial@freshtastekitchen.com with the subject line “Calculation Correction Request.”
Correction Procedures
When a material error is confirmed:
- The core calculation engine or ingredient reference file is updated immediately.
- Unit tests are added or updated in our verification suite to prevent regression.
- Material editorial corrections are noted with a clear update timestamp on the relevant article page.
